The Lord Cured my Left and Right Main Artery

Last Saturday, May 6, 2006, upon strict instruction of my Cardiologist, Dr. Enrique Posas, I had my CT Angiogram at St. Luke’s Medical Center. Upon review of the CT Scan results, Dr. Posas informed me in a very serious manner that he needed to do a Coronary Angiogram procedure on me, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! He saw me in the early afternoon of Monday, May 15, 2006 and wanted to do the procedure the following day. He wanted to do it right away because he said that the blockade on my MAIN LEFT ARTERY was more than 50% and was LIFE THREATENNING, and would most probably need a BY-PASS. Although the blockade on my RIGHT MAIN ARTERY was more severe, the doctor said that it could easily be cured by an ANGIOPLASTY procedure.

I agreed to have the Angiogram procedure on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 because I had a scheduled dinner for nine (9) Scalambrinan Priests at my house, Tuesday evening, May 16, 2006. Some of these priests came all the way from Australia, Indonesia, & Brazil for a conference in Manila. I knew this two weeks in advance, hence I issued the invitation to them for Tuesday evening, May 16.

After dinner, while coffee was being served, I requested the priests to PRAY OVER me for healing. The Pray Over was led by Fr. Sabino, the most senior member of the Scalabrini Order. During the Pray Over, I asked God to heal especially my LEFT MAIN ARTERY, and to just let the Doctors cure my RIGHT MAIN ARTERY. That same evening, in the most intimate prayer of my life, I asked and claimed to God that I was already healed of my Coronary disease.

I also had a small bottle of Holy Water from Lourdes. Not knowing how to use it, I sheepishly asked Monette how to go about drinking it. In my mind, I was prepared to ask and pray to all the ANGELS & SAINTS for Intercessory prayers. Monette instructed me to just say a little prayer to Mama Mary and then sprinkle a few drops in my tongue. My prayer was for Mama Mary to intercede in my behalf to her Son Jesus, to heal my partially blocked LEFT MAIN ARTERY.

Immediately after saying this short prayer, I drank the whole contents of Holy Water in the small bottle. Although I did not feel anything abnormal after it, I felt good and at peace with myself. After which, Monette and I proceeded to St. Luke Hospital that Tuesday evening preparatory to the procedure to be done Wednesday morning. As we were going to bed that evening at the St. Luke’s Hospital, I told my wife, Monette, that Dr. Posas will be surprised when he performs the Angiogram tomorrow. I told her that there will no longer be any BLOCKADE of my LEFT MAIN ARTERY.

During the start of the procedure Wednesday morning, I specifically requested Dr. Posas to first go to the LEFT MAIN ARTERY. The procedure, I might add is done while the patient is awake. Although I was under anesthesia, I was in a twilight state of consciousness and in fact was awake 95% of the time.

As soon as Dr. Posas reached my LEFT MAIN ARTERY, he could not believe what he was seeing! The Left Main Artery, contrary to the CT Scan Angiogram result was now CLEAR! Dr. Posas paused for a minute and gave the good news to Monette (who was watching the procedure in the monitor room, together with some of my children).

Dr. Posas then proceeded to the RIGHT MAIN ARTERY, and saw the blockade which was very evident also in the CT Scan Angiogram. He explained to me and my family that he needed to perform an Angioplasty. This procedure calls for inserting a special alloy into the artery/vein and causes the enlargement of the artery/vein to its normal size. This procedure effectively allows the normal free flow of blood thru our arteries/veins whenever it is blocked by calcification due to too much cholesterol build-up in our body. This procedure is less expensive and less life threatening compared to Coronary By-Pass.

What earlier was diagnosed as Life Threatening due to a blockade in the Left Main Artery and which would have required an OPEN HEART SURGERY or CORONARY BY-PASS, turned out to be an uneventful Angiogram and a simple Angioplasty which only required the insertion of one STENT.

I attribute this MIRACLE to all the Intercessory prayers made by my friends and loved ones, who knew about my condition prior to the procedure; to Mama Mary who never fails to intercede for us in our hour of need. To all of them go my very grateful appreciation and thanks.

Most especially, is my own personal thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has cured my heart disease. For this, I promise to continue to spread His WORD, and proclaim HIS Name and share my personal experiences regarding His GOODNESS and SAVING GRACE!
