H.O.P.E – Helping Our People and the Environment

We see God in people, places, events and the environment. The Mama Mary’s Movement has shared God’s blessings serving as a conduit by providing financial assistance to projects in partnership with other foundations, private and religious organizations as implementers and managers.

I. Supplemental Feeding Projects:

HAPAG – ASA, Alay kay Maria is an integrated nutrition program aim to feed malnourished children and help improve the health status of the fortunate living in depressed areas throughout the country.

(Note: Life is precious and health care should be one of our primary concerns.  A malnourished child during the formulative years of ages 1-7, without proper nutrition will affect their physical growth and mental development.

II. Scholarship Project:

Aral-Pagasa is a reintegration program of street children to normal school life supplemented with a tutorial program for them to catch up with academic standing.

III. E.A.R.T.H.

Environment Awareness Resolves Tomorrow’s Hope

Trees for peace and hope is an integrated program aim to plant fruit-bearing trees to support the greening and reforestation program as well as provide livelihood and economic benefits to the upland dwellers and indigenous communities in the country.

In 1987, this project has been implemented on a limited scale in a remote barangay in the province of Rizal by MMM founder Bro. Jiggers Alejandrino.

In the year 2000, also 2000 pine tree seedlings were planted around the perimeter of Tierra de Maria and various surrounding barangays in Tagaytay City.

(Note: Trees play a very vital part of life and the environment.  The unabated practice of cutting trees by loggers, slash and burn and charcoal making of the upland communities have greatly affected the global climate change and the natural calamities were are experiencing throughout the world such as floods and landslides.

IV. Therapeutic Healing Project –  H.O.S.T (Helping Our Skilled Therapists)

HOST is an integrated livelihood program aim to provide physical skill training to the selected, screened and jobless individuals from depressed families, as well as provide job opportunities for them in various centers in the country.

V. HOPE for Cancer Patients – (How Our Prayers Enlightens)

“God’s Divine plan is not our plan”  Healing of the Soul and total surrender to the will of God Seminars will be conducted to give hope to cancer patients and serve as a support group through their journey of illness. Aside from the spirituality, the movement will provide financial aid to the needy cancer patients.

VI. Helping Hand –

The medical mission is an integrated project aim to provide medical and dental services to the depressed families living in the many squatter area in the urban setting.

VII    Creative Skills and Sports Development

Is an integrated project for the under privileged but talented out-of-school-youth to undergo creative workshops such as painting, singing, dancing and other sports activities.
